Thanksgiving comes early for participants of Davidson County Drug Court

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – There was an early Thanksgiving dinner for about 100 people at the Davidson County Drug Court.

Clients of Judge Casey Moreland’s drug treatment program gathered for food and fellowship in South Nashville on Wednesday.

The meal was quite the feast with turkey and all the fixin’s for those in the program as well as their families.

Those in the program also took part in contributing to and preparing the meal.

The gathering is a yearly event. The drug court foundation will also give Thanksgiving dinner to all of their halfway houses so they can provide Thanksgiving Day meals to those who have no home or family to go to.
