NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Former Titans center Kevin Mawae was named one of 26 finalists for the NFL’s Hall of Fame.

Mawae played 16 NFL seasons was an eight-time Pro Bowl selection and was named All Pro seven times.

He played with the Titans from 2006 to 2009 and was a part of the offensive line that led Chris Johnson to a 2,000 yard season.

Former Titan greats Eddie George and Derrick Mason did not make the list of semi-finalists after being nominated.

It was Mason’s first nomination for the Hall of Fame. Only George and Jim Brown rushed for 10,000 yards without ever missing a start.
