MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 50-year-old man died in a single-car crash on Interstate 840 late Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 5 p.m. near the West Jefferson Pike exit in Murfreesboro.
Manfred Grill, 50, was reportedly driving a Nissan pickup truck in eastbound lanes when he veered off the side of the road, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The accident report says Grill then over-corrected, causing the truck to flip multiple times before coming to a rest in the median.
He died at the scene. The THP says he was wearing a seat belt at the time.
Neither alcohol nor drugs appeared to be a factor, the report states.
