NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A south Nashville gas station was robbed late Monday night and police are looking for the suspects.

The robbery happened at the Marathon station on Murfreesboro Road near Foster Avenue.

Metro police said one man stood as a lookout while another man walked into the gas station with a gun.

The man with the gun reportedly took $80 in cash, two cigars and a carton of cigarettes.

Police say the pair, who were both wearing black hooded sweatshirts, drove away in a silver impala with front-end damage.

Authorities are looking at surveillance  footage to see if the two suspects could be connected to any other recent robberies.
