Nashville man wanted for child rape arrested after traffic stop

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man wanted for raping a child was arrested after police saw him driving with a broken tail light.

According to an arrest report, John Bell was driving down Fesslers Lane Monday night when an officer noticed his license plate light wasn’t working.

The officer pulled Bell over, and when he ran a check of his driver’s license, it showed Bell had an outstanding warrant for child rape.

He was arrested and booked into the Metro jail on $100,000 bond.
