NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tennessee Tower officials say the building was closed Monday as a scheduled weekend power outage for construction continued.

Late Monday afternoon, officials said the power was restored and will reopen for normal operation Tuesday.

About 2,100 people work in the building and the tower does not operate on the Nashville Electric Service grid, according to officials.
