Bomb squad responds to Lowe’s after possible explosives found

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The bomb squad responded to a Nashville Lowe’s Friday morning after two possible explosive devices were found nearby.

An officer on the scene at 3460 Dickerson Pike told News 2 there are two detonating cords sticking out of a the rock wall next to the store.

At 11:30 a.m., News 2 learned one cord had been moved. It had a charge but was old and served no threat.

An update on the second cord wasn’t immediately known.

The store’s parking lot is blocked off, but business continues as usual inside.
