NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Gaylord Opryland held their annual Lighting Ceremony on Friday, turning on more than 2.3 million holiday lights.

The resort’s exterior was also lit up in red, white, and blue to honor military servicemen and women for Veterans Day.

Veteran Stacy Peel, who spent 30 years with the Tennessee National Guard and now works at Opryland, had the honors of flipping the switch.

The Grinch was also there to help out with the announcement as “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical” is showing this year at the Grand Ole Opry House. Click here to get tickets.
