Predators beat Blues 3-1

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Predators scored two third period goals to beat goalie Carter Hutton and the Blues 3-1 Thursday night in Nashville.

It was Hutton’s first game against his former team. He held the Predators scoreless until there was just 1:34 left in the second period when Colin Wilson found Calle Jarnkrok for his second goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1.

Nashville added a pair of five-on-five goals in third period by James Neal (4) and Jarnkrok who scored his second of the night and third of the season.

Hutton finished the game saving 25 of 28 shots in the loss. Pekka Rinne stopped 23 of 24 shots for Nashville. Jaden Schwartz scored St. Louis’s only goal of the game.

With the win the Preds are 3-0-2 in their last five games and are now 5-5-3 for the season.
