Country music legend coming out with first album in 13 years

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Country music legend Jeannie Seely is releasing her first album in 13 years.

“Written in Song” is a collection of tracks written by Seely but made famous by other artists, including Merle Haggard, Dottie West, and Ernest Tubb.

After more than six decades in the business, the Grammy-winning artist is putting her own voice to her legendary writing.

Seely also says she’s not finished yet. Getting back in the studio has given her new inspiration.
