WOODRUFF, S.C. (WSPA) – New details have emerged in the investigation involving missing couple, Kala Brown and Charles David Carver.

Brown was found on Thursday, chained in a storage container on property that belonged to 45-year-old Todd Kohlhepp. A body was also found in a shallow grave.

Sheriff Chuck Wright confirmed Saturday night that the body found on Kohlhepp’s property was that of Charles David Carver.

Coroner Rusty Clevenger says that Carver died of multiple gunshot wound.

Kohlhepp is also responsible for another major unsolved case from 2003, according to Sheriff Wright.

He reportedly admitted to murdering the four victims from the 2003 Superbike case in Spartanburg County. The incident, better known at the “Superbike murders,” occurred at a motor sports business in Chesnee.

The 13th anniversary of the unsolved crime is Sunday.
