ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) – An Ashland City man has been sentenced to three years in jail after a jury convicted him of sexual abuse.

Bruce Caldwell was babysitting several children who were family friends last year in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, when prosecutors say he sexually assaulted one of the female children.

According to the original arrest warrant, Caldwell left town after the victim’s father confronted him.

He was convicted of first degree sexual abuse and unlawful transaction with a minor.
