1 injured in shootout at west Nashville apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN)- One person was injured in a shootout at a west Nashville apartment complex Friday night.

It happened at the Richland Hills Apartments on Maudina Avenue near White Bridge Road around 11 p.m.

Metro police told News 2 a 21-year-old male victim was shot in the neck and arm. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where his condition is unknown.

Multiple vehicles in the parking lot were struck and several weapons were recovered at the scene.

Officers at the scene described the parking lot to News 2 as a “massive crime scene.”

No additional information was immediately released.
