DELTONA, Fla. (WCMH) — A squirrel reportedly bit and scratched several people inside a Florida senior center.
“It’s jumping on people and biting them and scratching them,” the caller said. “It’s still in there and people are bleeding.”
At about 2 p.m., a squirrel somehow managed to get inside the Deltona Senior Center, and began attacking residents in the activity area.
“I don’t know if we need an ambulance, but we need some care for people here,” the caller said. “ … The people are bleeding.”
Workers were able to eventually get the squirrel out of the building, but not before at least three residents were injured. Their conditions are unknown after the attack.
