MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A touching tribute was held Friday for a Maury County deputy who was killed in the line of duty.
Nov. 4 marked two years since Deputy Darrell Perritt died while chasing a DUI suspect.
On Friday, the sheriff’s department raised a special flag in his honor.
The sheriff told News 2 he thinks about Perritt every day.
Perritt, 42, left behind a wife, a daughter and two sons. He and his wife were married for 22 years.
