NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Nashville may be known for its music, but food took center stage Friday night at the 16th annual Taste of Nashville.
The event was held at Rocketown in downtown.
Roughly 600 people tried out samples from dozens of restaurants, and local breweries and distilleries were also on hand.
“We try and bring in the community through tastings of both drink and food and raise money for our non-profit partners,” explained Chip Howorth.
Proceeds from Taste of Nashville benefit local youth organizations through the Phoenix Club of Nashville.
