Donleson Pike reopens after pole damaged in hit-and-run crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Donelson Pike has reopened after a utility pole was damaged in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning.

The crash happened near the intersection of Elm Hill Pike around 2 a.m.

Metro police told News 2 the driver who struck the pole fled from the scene.

Investigators believe the pole was hit by a dark-colored Nissan truck due to the grille left behind at the crash site.

Crews were dispatched to the scene to repair the pole.

The roadway reopened around 7 a.m.
