This year, Dollywood said their Smoky Mountain Christmas, which runs Nov. 5 to Jan. 1 is going to be better than ever. The park started hanging up their four million lights in July.
“When you come into the park and see this atmosphere it is amazing,” said Wes Ramey with Dollywood. “You understand why Dollywood has won the award for best Christmas theme park event in the entire world for nine years.”
The park is also debuting a new parade and two new holiday shows. Based on the Christmas classic, It’s a Wonderful Life is launching this winter. They are also remastering Christmas in the Smokies to its traditional home at D.P.’s Celebrity Theater.

After all of the things I’ve been able to see and do in my life, it’s the times from those Christmases with my family I still hold most dear.”
