Anderson allegedly told police he set the fire in the hallway outside the bedroom of another resident of the home.

Metro police reported Anderson took gasoline and poured it on his roommate’s bedroom door before igniting it with a lighter.

Anderson also told police he set a fire on Monday but extinguished it before it got out of control, according to an affidavit.

Police said Anderson told officers he started the fire because he wanted his roommate out of the home.

Anderson was booked into the Metro jail and charged with aggravated arson. His bond was set at $102,000.
