Crews battle fire at Nashville apartment complex

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Fire Department quickly extinguished a potential two-alarm fire at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon.

It happened at a complex located at 367 Village Green Drive just after 2 p.m.

Fire officials told News 2 two units were damaged by the fire. Six other units are so affected due to power being shut off at the building.

Officials on the scene are helping assess housing needs for residents.

One dog was rescued.

No injuries were immediately reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown and remains under investigation.
