3 men, 1 with machete, arrested after robbing man outside Nashville Walmart

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police arrested three people accused of robbing a homeless man outside the Walmart at the corner of Nolensville Pike and Harding Place Tuesday morning.

An off-duty Nolensville police officer was working security at the Walmart. He was patrolling the parking lot just before 3:30 a.m. when he saw the robbery.

Detectives said the man was asleep in his truck when the suspects opened the door, demanded money and started going through his things.

Detectives said one of the men was wearing camouflage and had a machete.

The suspects now identified as Aaron Maddux, Darry Wilson and Jeffrey Fuqua, reportedly took $20 from the victim and his cell phone.

The off-duty Nolensville Officer held two of the suspects until Metro police arrived.

The third man fled the scene. A Metro officer found him walking down the road shortly after.

All three men are charged with aggravated robbery. Wilson is also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

The victim is ok.
