NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Country group Little Big Town announced they will be doing a residency at the Ryman Auditorium next year.

The group made the announcement Tuesday morning on the stage of the historic venue. Little Big Town played at the Ryman for the first time more than a decade ago in 2005.

“We’ve been planning this for probably a year,” Karen Fairchild said. ”All the dreams about what these nights could be, reminiscing about our first play here in 2005 and what it felt like to stand on this stage and wanting to share the inspiration with the world and knowing that we get to focus and be home and reflect on the great songs that have been sung on this stage.”

The group will be the first-ever to do a residency at the Ryman and they will play six shows next year. The first shows are scheduled for February 24 and 25.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the Ryman and range in price from $50.50 to $90.50.
