CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The city of Clarksville is going Google and choosing something called G Suite for its workers.
G Suite is data management software aimed to streamline “powerful tools” people use on a daily basis.
It includes email, documents, calendars, schedules, instant messaging, video sharing, and conference calls, as well as unlimited cloud-based data storage.
“G Suite was gracious and aggressive in offering us a package that was extremely beneficial cost-wise to the city and will be beneficial in the long run,” said Mayor Kim McMillan.
Clarksville joins a growing list of cities going Google, including Boston, Los Angeles, St. Louis, and nearby Chattanooga.
