Police investigating Madison home invasion

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) –  Metro police are investigating a home invasion in Madison.

It happened at the Archwood Meadows Apartments and Townhomes just before 3 a.m. Monday morning.

Detectives told News 2 two people were inside a condo when a man kicked in the back door.

They say he was armed, and took some of the victim’s things before he fled.

A K-9 officer responded to the scene and searched for the man in a wooded area near the condo. The suspect remains at large.

The victims were unharmed and police said they don’t think they were targeted. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME.
