NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police have cleared the scene where a suspicious package was found Monday morning in Berry Hill.
An emissions testing center and part of Interstate 65 South were closed for a portion of the morning as Metro police, Berry Hill police, and a bomb squad investigated a suspicious suitcase in Berry Hill.
A worker at a vehicle emissions testing center, located at 501 Craighead Street, said they arrived to work Monday morning to find a suitcase with the word “Bomb” written on it, according to Metro police dispatch.
Craighead Street was partially blocked off to traffic as authorities investigate.
Interstate 65 southbound was also closed near I-440 due to the report.
No surveillance video is available of the suspect, but police are looking for a homeless white male wearing khaki pants and pushing a shopping cart.
