Man’s murder unsolved after nearly 4 months; Police want answers

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man’s murder remains unsolved after he was found with a gunshot wound on the side of a street earlier this summer.

Kevin Blanchette was found by a passing motorist on Montgomery Avenue near Douglas Avenue on the morning of July 13.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville where he died a few days later.

Police said he was last seen alive on foot in the Madison/East Nashville area asking people for a ride to Old Hickory.

Anyone with information on his murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME. A $1,000 reward is being offered in the case.
