LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The city of La Vergne is currently experiencing “Moderate Drought” conditions, officials said Friday.
The National Drought Mitigation Center has established a D-1 drought level for the time being.
There has been a scarce level of precipitation across the region, leading to the alert. There is no current action required regarding water conversation, though.
However, city officials say if the drought level rises to D-2, voluntary water restrictions would go into effect.
