NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN)- If you work downtown or a planning to head to Thursday Night Football at Nissan Stadium you will need a traffic plan.

The game starts just after the afternoon rush hour.

Expect heavy traffic downtown starting at 4 p.m.

Korean Veterans Memorial Bridge will be open in both directions until the beginning of the fourth quarter. Metro police will then open the bridge to Westbound traffic only to get the game traffic moving as quickly as possible.

The Woodland Street Bridge, Russell St, South 1st and South 2nd will all be closed starting at 4 p.m.

A park and go shuttle service will be available for $10 if you plan to use the garages near 10th Avenue and Charlotte.

You can also park on the outskirts of downtown, like West End Avenue or Germantown, and catch a ride with Uber or Lyft. There will also be plenty of free golf carts ready to take you as close as they can to the stadium.

For everyone working downtown but not attending the game, avoid the east side of downtown. Use streets like Broadway, Church and Charlotte on the West side of downtown to get you to the downtown loop. From there take the loop in the direction that will take you to the interstate you need to get you home.
