2-year-old girl killed in Ohio quadruple shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A two-year-old girl died Tuesday after a shooting in southwest Columbus, Ohio. Three others were injured.

It happened just after 6 p.m. in the 4600 block of Parkwick Drive.

Columbus police say Norman Robert Burke and another unidentified suspect fired multiple shots at the victims. Burke was also shot in the incident.

He was located by responding officers east of the location according to Columbus police.

It is not clear who shot him at this time.

Two of the victims have been identified as Julian M. Bice and Jessica C. Stanford, the young girl is not being directly identified at this time.

She was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in critical condition. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Bice and Stanford were taken to Mount Carmel West Hospital in critical condition. Burke was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.

Burke has been charged with two counts of felonious assault and one count of murder.

The second suspect is still on the loose.
