NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A huge fundraiser was held Tuesday night for a program that helps rehabilitate drug offenders.

John Rich of Big & Rich hosted the event at his home in the Hillsboro-West End neighborhood of Nashville.

It raised money for Nashville’s Drug Court, which helps those arrested for drug offenses get themselves back on their feet.

Rich had some big names to help out, including country star Clint Black .

“You don’t hear a lot of people who go through rehab talking about it because there’s a stigma attached to it, but actually if you went in to have surgery on your neck, like I have, there’s no stigma attached to that, so there shouldn’t be one attached to rehab,” said Black.

“It should be something we can bring out in the open and encourage people that just because you’re suffering from the inability to stop doing something doesn’t mean that you have to hide and do it alone,” he added.

At last check, more than 60,000 dollars has been raised.
