Teen stabbed during apparent robbery at Springfield Walmart

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WKRN) – Springfield police say a teenager was stabbed Sunday night in an apparent robbery at Walmart.

Officers responded to the hospital around 9:30 p.m. where the victim, 18-year-old Patrick Bush, reported he was stabbed at the business off Tom Austin Highway.

He was stabbed multiple times in the chest, stomach and back.

During their investigation, police say they learned James Auerbach was responsible. He reportedly turned himself in and admitted to the stabbing.

Auerbach faces charges of criminal attempt to commit robbery and aggravated assault. He was booked into the Robertson County jail on $40,000 bond.
