Woman seriously injured in Clarksville shooting

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a woman with serious injuries.

It happened Sunday at 3:53 p.m. in the area of Farris Drive and Kellogg Street.

Officers say the female victim got into a physical altercation with a man who then shot her.

She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by LifeFlight. Her injuries were serious but non-life threatening.

The shooting remains under investigation. No other details were immediately released.
