Nashville flight bound for LA makes emergency landing in Arkansas

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CNN) – An American Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Little Rock, Arkansas, Saturday afternoon.

Officials said the plane was diverted there after the crew reported a smell of smoke in the cabin during the flight.

The airline said the jet landed safely and everyone is OK. Flight 1134 was headed from Nashville to Los Angeles.

American Airlines said the 123 passengers were expected to arrive in Los Angeles on a different plane Saturday night.
