NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Thousands of people gathered in downtown Nashville Friday night for the 17th annual Light The Night Walk.
The event, which was hosted by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raised money for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Friday’s walk started at 5:30 p.m. at Nissan Stadium.
Participants carried illuminated lanterns and walked two miles. They also enjoyed food, music, fireworks, and children’s activities.
“Nashville” star Charles Esten was also there to support his daughter, Addie, who’s a survivor of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
