NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Nashville Fire Department battled flames at an abandoned duplex in north Nashville Thursday night.

The fire started just before 11 p.m. near the corner of Dr. DB Todd Jr. Boulevard and Cockrill Street.

The fire, which had the home fully engulfed when NFD arrived, started in an addition to the structure.

The duplex was boarded up, but officials at the scene said part of the home still had power.
