NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Nashville family that met Adele while on vacation was ecstatic when the singer sent them tickets to her sold out show in Music City.

Howard and Leslie Kirshner, their daughter Jamie, and her friend Brady saw Adele at a London restaurant last year while on vacation.

The group took pictures with the Grammy-winning pop superstar and mentioned that tickets to her Nashville shows were sold out. Before she left, Adele got the Kirshners’ contact information and said she’d send them tickets.

When News 2 interviewed the family back in January, they were optimistic they’d be contacted about the show.

But nine months later, still no tickets.

That all changed, however, on the weekend of the concerts. The Kirshner family told News 2 that Adele’s people called and offered them four tickets to the show on Sunday, Oct. 15 at  Bridgestone Arena.

Their daughter and her friend flew back from college for a quick trip to see the show.

They say they had a blast.
