NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Members of the infamous Westboro Baptist Church will be in Nashville to protest on Halloween.

According to the group’s website, they will be in Nashville to protest first near Belmont from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., near Vanderbilt University from 11:10 a.m. until 11:40 a.m. and near OutCentral from 11:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.

We are aware that Westboro is planning a protest on public property near Belmont’s campus,” said Belmont University Associate Provost & Dean of Students Dr. Jeffery Burgin. “As a Christian institution, it is our goal to build a diverse and inclusive community where all members feel accepted, safe and loved. We firmly reject the hate they exhibit and encourage our community to not engage with this group during their Nashville visit.
