NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in south Nashville Thursday night.
It happened shortly after 9 p.m. at Harding Place and Antioch Pike.
Metro police say a driver suspected of fleeing a hit-and-run that happened just minutes earlier ran a red light while traveling northeast on Antioch Pike. The driver then ran into a tractor trailer, which had a green light at the time. Three other cars were also struck.
Two people from the suspect’s car were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Two occupants from the other cars were also treated at the same hospital for minor injuries.
Authorities are working to determine if alcohol contributed to the crash.
