Tullahoma police charge teen with filing a false report in attempted abduction case

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tullahoma police have charged a 14-year-old with filing a false report in this weekend’s attempted abduction case.

The charge comes after the police department finished its investigation into the attempted abduction reported on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the old West Middle School on South Jackson Street.

Police say as a result of the investigation, information indicated the incident did not occur and was a fabrication.

The 14-year-old male has been served a juvenile petition to appear in the Coffee County Juvenile Court on November 3, 2016 for the filing of a false police report.
