NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Titans were out Tuesday encouraging students and their families to stay active.
Players, coaches, staff and cheerleaders were all at the “Hometown Huddle” at Napier United Way Family Resource Center in south Nashville.
The event focused on the importance of eating healthy and living an active lifestyle.
According to the United Way, Tennessee ranks 43rd out of the 50 states for overall health.
They interacted and played games with kids, trying to set an example, and encouraging them to lead healthy lifestyles.
The Hometown Huddle is something all teams in the NFL can participate in to give back to their communities as part of the Play 60 initiative.
