NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Parents and employers got together at a popular east Nashville coffee shop Tuesday, to raise awareness for more flexible work hours for parents.
They stopped by the barista parlor on Magazine Street to celebrate National Flex Day.
The event was hosted by Mom Source Network and the goal was to get workers and employers behind the need for more workplace flexibility.
The group talked about different jobs here in music city that offer flexible schedules, and they helped with resumes, interviews, and networking.
Tuesday marks the fourth annual National Flex Day, which is also part of National Work and Family Month.
