NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Parents and teens who pick up food from Sonic restaurants will receive a sticker to encourage safe driving among young drivers.
The sticker provides online resources for teen drivers to learn how to adopt good habits for safe driving.
“It’s our hope when parents drive up to a Sonic they order food, get a sticker which includes websites for the parents,” explained Megan Osborne with AAA. “We offer those resources – one – to start that conversation.”
The stickers will be given out all week.
In 2014, more than 72,000 teens were involved in accidents in the state of Tennessee.
