Metro police investigate hit-and-run on McGavock Pike


NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – An investigation continues after a 55-year-old man, who is legally blind, was injured in a hit-and-run accident on McGavock Pike Monday night.

According to Metro police, the victim, David Lloyd, was crossing the roadway from west to east outside of a crosswalk when he was hit.

The driver fled the scene. Police said they have been unable to locate any witnesses of the accident.

Lloyd was last listed in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be black and is missing its driver’s side rearview mirror.
