Metro police arrest brothers accused of attempting to transport marijuana

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro detectives caught two brothers as they reportedly attempted to transport 18 pounds of marijuana out of Nashville Monday.

Dalen and Derek Henderson were stopped by Metro narcotics detectives at a Donelson Pike rental car facility following a tip.

Police dog Cain indicated a drug odor was coming from the brothers’ van and a search revealed the vacuum packaged marijuana, an AR-15 rifle, a 9 millimeter pistol and a 12-gauge shotgun.

Both brothers are jailed in lieu of $75,000 bond each on felony marijuana and gun charges.
