Donelson hotel robbed at gunpoint; 2 suspects on the run

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) –  A hotel was held up at gunpoint early Monday morning near the Nashville International Airport.

According to Metro police, two men walked into the Nashville Airport Inn and Suites around 3 a.m. and pointed their guns at the clerk. The two men then started taking money from the cash drawer.

The two suspects also tried to get into the safe before they left the hotel, according to police.

The employee was not hurt and was able to give authorities a good suspect description.

Police are looking for two black men. One of the suspects, a black man between 35 to 40 years old, is bald and has a mustache. The second suspect, is described as a heavy set black man who was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt. His face was covered during the robbery.
