CEDAR HILL, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities are investigating a fire at a tobacco barn fire in Robertson County after witnesses saw a suspicious vehicle speed off after the fire started.
According to Smokey Barn News, the fire started around 11 p.m. Sunday on Mud Cat Road in Cedar Hill.
The barn was not badly damaged, but the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office told Smokey Barn News the fire is under investigation.
The owner of the barn told Smokey Barn News another person saw a truck parked in front of the barn. As that friend drove up to the barn the truck sped off at a high rate of speed. The owner said they are now looking for a silver or tan Nissan pickup.
This is the second tobacco barn in fire in two days in the Cedar Hill area. On Saturday a barn less than 10 miles away from the scene of Sunday’s fire was destroyed.
