22-year-old arrested for Hopkinsville murder

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKRN) – A 22-year-old man was arrested for a fatal shooting at a Hopksinsville gas station.

Dorien Meullion was taken into custody Sunday at a home on Polly Drive in Clarksville.

He is accused of opening fire on Tarone Williams while he stood outside the Marathon gas station on East 9th Street and Campbell Street on Saturday afternoon.

Williams tried to drive away, but he ended up hitting another car and died at the scene.

No motive for the shooting was released.

Meullion will remain behind bars in the Montgomery County Jail until he is extradited back to Kentucky.
