Police: Man tried to abduct child from Tullahoma playground

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are looking for a man who tried to abduct a child from a Tullahoma playground Saturday.

The incident occurred at 4:30 p.m. at the Old West Middle School playground, which is just off South Franklin Street.

Authorities say a man tried to abduct a small child, but another juvenile saw what was happening and fought off the abductor.

The suspect then left in a large, white, older model van that had a sticker of an Ironman mask on the side.

He was described as a white male wearing a black hoodie pulled over a baseball cap, Harley Davidson sunglasses with blue flames, and blue jeans.
