Police search for person of interest after girl fondled on MTA bus

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are looking for a person of interest in the reported fondling of a 10 year old girl on an MTA bus.

According to a news release, the incident happened Friday afternoon.

The victim told officers a man sitting next to her forcibly touched her. He then left the bus at 4:20 p.m. in the vicinity of 18th Avenue North and Church Street.

She said he smelled of alcohol and was wearing clothes that were in disarray.

He also had a possible bite mark on the palm of one of his hands. It’s not clear which hand the injury was on, but he appeared to be right handed.

The 10 year old girl also told authorities the man had an unusually large nose.
