High school bands hit high note in Kentucky competition

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKRN) – High school bands in Kentucky hit some high notes on Saturday as they competed against one another in Hopkinsville.

They were taking part in the annual Western Kentucky Tournament of Champions marching band competition, which was held at the Stadium of Champions.

Among the highlights were color guard, percussion, and bands marching to various routines and themes.

The finalists included Todd County Central High School, Logan County High School, Russellville High School, and Christian County High School.

Saturday’s competition was hosted by the Hopkinsville High Marching Tigers.
